Handmade Cretan sari with a thin weave

about 100-105cm long.

The sariki is woven in Crete in a traditional way

in hand crochet with a single strand chain.

Cretans proudly wear the black sari

either tied on the head or thrown lightly over the shoulders.

Wash the saree by hand and dry it in the shade.

No ironing required. But if you want the saree a little longer

you can press it lightly with a warm iron

so as to open its braid as needed.
